George’s Lincoln Park Diner got its start 20 years ago, in 1997, when George decided that the location was the perfect place for an amazing diner! George holds an associates degree in hotel and restaurant management, and had owned five other restaurants and his own restaurant consulting business before something told him to open this diner. His instincts were right, because over the next few years, the diner became a huge hit! We focus on delivering the comfort food that our customers want, made with fresh ingredients so you know you’re always getting the best.

Community

We are very active

We are very active in community projects. We raised money for defibrillators for the PAL, and are always willing to sponsor, donate, or volunteer to help our community. We welcome people who want to relax and enjoy their food, so we offer free wifi, virtual office capabilities, and have equipped every booth with a charging outlet so you can bring your phone, laptop, or other small electronic device with you.

George has SafeServ Certification and does his own butchering and roasts his own meats, which means that you don’t have to worry abut anything pre-made or packaged at George’s! We serve delicious homemade soups that might put your grandparents out of business—or fill you with nostalgia for the good old days. We care about our customers’ experiences, not only from a business standpoint, but from a personal standpoint—we see each person who walks through our door as a valued guest, and we want to be the best host possible.
